What People Say
Most Liked
The jerk chicken stands out as a must-try dish; it's flavorful with just the right amount of spice, often praised by first-timers and regulars alike. Many patrons rave about the large portions, especially during lunch hours, where plates can feed two easily, providing great value for money.
Quick service is another highlight. The staff works efficiently, often noted for their smooth operation even during busy hours. The lively reggae music enhances the dining experience, transportive in the backdrop as diners enjoy their meals. Overall, the relaxed vibe, delicious food, and friendly staff make Peppa’s a beloved spot in the community.
Most Disliked
While the food garners rave reviews, there’s some feedback concerning long waits during peak hours. The bustling dinner periods, especially on Fridays, can lead to longer wait times that some may find less appealing, although many agree the food is worth it.
Another common point of frustration is the cash-only policy. Some customers find it inconvenient when they don't carry cash and must resort to ordering through the app. Although acceptances of credit and debit cards would make the process smoother, it hasn't deterred loyal fans from returning for their favorite dishes.

Decided to pickup some Jamaican food before heading to New Jersey and someone referred me to this location since she knew it closed late. I loved the reggae music playing while I waited on my order and the decor gave Jamaica vibes. The staff worked quickly and orderly to get orders prepared and out in a timely manner. I will be returning to this restaurant. Glad I decided to stop by. I picked up a medium fried porgy medium order. It was delicious!

Ya'll .. this food was SO GOOD. Jerk chicken was spicy, flavorful and the rice & cabbage were perfect. I ate this last-night & I had to come back to write this. Will definitely be back. 10/10

The food, service, and atmosphere were great. However, they don't accept credit or debit cards. Cash only. Since I didn't have enough cash on me at the time, I was told to order through the app. for pickup at the restaurant.

Long wait for food but it’s worth it. Jerk chicken is the best you’ll ever have and a large plate can feed two people easily.

Food was amazing. I believe this was my first time at this location. I got the large plate with jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and cabbage and it was so good. The big plate is $18 and the plate is so big.

Food was excellent but the customer service was not that great. They need to be more friendly.

The best time to go is around 1 am. Less crowded. I got macaroni and cheese barbecue chicken and a side of fish I enjoyed everything. I'm an Uber eats delivery lady. I deliver food for them all the time and I never got to taste the food. The presentation is what made me order my first time... Well worth it.
